Advanced Troubleshooting and Board-Level Diagnostics

This advanced troubleshooting course focuses on developing expert-level diagnostic capabilities for complex anesthesia systems. Students will learn to interpret detailed electrical schematics, perform precise signal tracing, and systematically isolate faults within power supplies, control boards, and sensor circuits. Emphasis is placed on understanding the interdependencies of electronic components and software controls. Through practical exercises, students will gain proficiency in using advanced test equipment, making informed repair-versus-replace decisions, and effectively utilizing service documentation. The curriculum integrates safety protocols throughout, preparing technicians to address challenging failures efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability in critical medical environments.
